Protexus Electrostatic Sprayer Covid-19- Hotsy

While the COVID-19 situation is improving, it’s still important that we remain vigilant. This includes wearing a mask in public, keeping a safe distance away from others, and keeping ourselves and surfaces clean. For this last part, it’s good to have some strong disinfectants by your side. Whether you are looking to disinfect your home or your business, you must have the right stuff for the job. Here are some of the best disinfectants you should look to use.

Using an Electrostatic Sprayer on Surfaces

One of the best types of disinfectants is an electrostatic spray. Electrostatic sprayers release liquid droplets into the air, but they do not just float around, unlike other disinfectants. Instead, they use static electricity to cling to the object you aim the nozzle at. This static electricity is generated by applying a positive charge to the liquid as it passes through the nozzle. Should any virus molecules be residing on this object’s surface, the electrostatic spray clings to those molecules and destroys them.

Using the Protexus electrostatic sprayer is relatively easy. First, you fill the electrostatic up with water. You then insert a disinfectant tablet, like the Purtab, which dissolves within seconds. The Purtab is a better alternative to the Vital Oxide cleaner and can kill pathogens like COVID-19 much faster.

Once you fill the Protexus electrostatic sprayer, put in the Lithium-ion battery. This battery allows you to use the sprayer without a cord and gives the disinfecting liquid its electric charge. From there, it’s just a matter of pointing the sprayer at the surface you want to clean and pulling the trigger.

The Protexus electrostatic sprayer, combined with Purtabs, is one of the quickest and easiest ways to clean a surface. If you want to ensure a good clean and not spend a lot of time or money doing it, this is the best option to consider.

Getting a Deeper Clean

According to the EPA, “Electrostatic sprayers work by charging the antimicrobial liquid as it passes through a nozzle.  The positively charged antimicrobial droplets are attracted to negatively charged environmental surfaces allowing for improved coverage on hard, non-porous environmental surfaces.” However, not every surface you want to clean is hard and non-porous.

So, while the Protexus electrostatic sprayer cleans surfaces very well, you may desire to perform a deeper clean in some areas. For example, you might want to give a carpet or couch a deep cleaning or the blankets on your bed. In these situations, there are some other options.

When cleaning linens, simply putting them through a washing machine on hot water should do the trick. Be sure you are using a laundry detergent that specifically can kill bacteria and pathogens.

For fabrics that you cannot through into the wash, consider buying or renting a carpet cleaner. Carpet cleaners penetrate deeper into the carpet and typically have an attachment you can use for other furniture, like couches or love seats. Within the carpet cleaner, you can dissolve some Vital Oxide cleaner or some Purtabs to ensure that any COVID-19 pathogens are destroyed.

Hand Soap

One of the most important things we can do during this time is to keep our hands clean. The best way to accomplish this is by regularly washing our hands with disinfecting soap. Look for a hand soap that specifically kills viruses. Many decorative hand soaps look or smell nice, but they do not provide the disinfecting you need against COVID-19. Both bar soaps and liquid soaps are acceptable, provided you use enough when washing your hands.

When washing, remember to get your hands wet and scrub for at least 30 seconds. Soap works by attaching itself to the bacteria on your hands, and the water washes both soap and bacteria away. The longer and more thoroughly you wash your hands, the better.

Hand Sanitizer

While not as good as hand soap, hand sanitizer can also be used to disinfect your hands. According to the CDC, “Washing hands with soap and water is the best way to get rid of germs in most situations. If water and soap are not available, you may use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. You can tell if it contains at least 60% alcohol by looking at the product label.”

Hand sanitizer is the stuff you rub into your hands without rinsing off at the end. It can kill much of the bacteria on your hands, but it is still preferable to wash your hands with soap whenever possible. However, if you are out on the go and only have hand sanitizer available, you should still use it. Grab a bottle or two and keep it in your car or purse for easy access when you’re out.

Using the Best Disinfectants

Whether you’re cleaning surfaces, furniture, or your hands, you must use the best disinfectants available. If you’re going to bother to clean, you might as well do the job right. We’re almost through dealing with COVID-19, but we need to remain vigilant a little while longer. Stock up on some of the best disinfectants and kill and COVID-19 molecules that come your way.
